WOW! I don’t always make it through a blog post’s long read, but I did this time and the reward was two pooches that brought a smile to my face. I hope you got to celebrate the chapbook; it's important to give hope. I pre-ordered Keep Sweet from my nearest Indie bookstore, the Third Place Books, Seward Park location and would love to see you come read there.
Thanks for ordering “Keep Sweet.” Quick FYI: Inlandia Books ran out of their copies, so some of the ordered books will come straight from the printer to speed up fulfillment. If you receive a book without a bookmark, that is the explanation. But I have many more at home and will send you one if you let me know. (Another FYI: At home I have Dodgers and USC bookmarks I made, so if you are a fan of either, let me know.)
🤣 Yankees or Mets fan? My husband is a big Dodger fan from childhood, so I’ve made him Dodger stuff and then the bookmarks from the scraps. The bookmarks started as a project to use the scraps instead of throwing them away.
Yes, I was very happy that Inlandia has run out of books! They are taking a chance on me and I want them to recover their investment.
I'm so sorry about your losses during your first book launch! That had to be a rough time for you :( So glad you had a fun soft launch for your new book - and hope the real launch in a few weeks will be successful and, more importantly, a fun experience for you!
Congrats on the new book! 😊 I picked up a book yesterday about D-Day, and another called The Notebook: A History of Thinking on Paper. And also a couple of sci fi/fantasy books. 😊😊
The content is sad, but your writing is so good. Carries us along thru those days. Congrats on your new book@
Thank you! Crazy times.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us! You deserve cake!! Can't wait to read your latest book ❤️
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for ordering “Keep Sweet.” Yay to those two pooches!
OMG! Best wishes on your new book.
Thank you!
Happy Launch Month. May all your cupcakes be bookish.
I'm looking forward to my bookmark!

Um. I live in NYC. Dodgers bookmark? Have a bonfire handy?
Happy to hear Inlandia has run out of books. Demand exceeds supply!

Mets fan from very early. I don’t detest the Yankees, like many Mets fans, but was happy about the 5th inning in last year’s WS.

Thanks! I just bought a book about the Battle of Midway for a relative’s bday. Maybe it’[s the summer of WWII books.
Thanks for mentioning my post, Victoria! The internet really lost its pants over that debacle!
Truly!
